The following account of Roro is taken from GD 50 98 from The Scottish Record Office which refers to the notes and papers
of John McGregor, Writer to the Signet. I follow John McG here in using + for died and d for daughter. The numbering of
the chieftains of the House of Roro has been altered slightly to agree with Amelia. See esp. her index to Vol. II, pp521-523.
Added data from Amelia are in italics. Substantial Australian additions from Beth Chamberlain Nov 1989, also material from
the memoirs of Alexander McGregor of Inverhadden (referred to below as Inverhadden) kindly lent by her. Further corrections
